Journey to the Watchtower Farm Insanity on Every Journey
+1 pickups, Insanity gain, VIP’s +50%, and a rebirth loop that banks deaths instead of wasting them.
Journey to the Watchtower is a Roblox incremental simulator released 13 August 2026 by Brian’s Youtube Gang. You cross a desert toward a three-arch Watchtower, survive deadly light, live through sandworm bursts, and spend +1 pickups on stamina, speed, and Insanity gain. This page is the how-to-get for Insanity: pickups on the torch-lined stone path, the Insanity gain upgrade, VIP’s +50%, and the rebirth loop that makes a death bank power instead of a story.
Spend reasoning: upgrade guide. Ranked ladder: upgrade priority. Reset rules: Rebirth Guide. No-pass sequence: free-to-play route. Worm tax: Beat the Sandworm. Layout: Desert Map.
What you are farming
Insanity is the long-term axis the game tells you to gain. It is not a named Spirit, not a drop rate, and not a badge. It is whether the next journey is actually different after you rebirth. Official copy says every death makes the next journey easier. That sentence only holds if you collect +1s you can reach, spend on Insanity gain when two journeys copy each other, and stop overstaying a dead line.
Servers hold up to 15 players. Their Insanity is not yours. Individual progression means you cannot siphon another avatar’s VIP, pickups, or rebirths. If they are farther ahead, that is their bank, not a shared farm.
Collect +1 pickups on the lane
+1 pickups are the fuel. They sit on the torch-lined stone path, sometimes one step off it. Walk until you can name the next cluster. Burst-sprint to pickups on the lane. Recover on stone. Take a +1 if you can return to torches without emptying stamina. Skip it if it sits in open sand. Never chain dune pickups because they look like a necklace from the camera.
A clean line with fewer pickups still banks a better rebirth than a greedy line that ends in the flower-mouth. If you miss one, do not reverse into a sandworm burst. See Beat the Sandworm for the window, and the Desert Map for how clusters sit on the road rather than in fantasy dunes.
Buy Insanity gain when journeys copy
The three upgrade axes are stamina, speed, and Insanity gain. Early deaths still belong to stamina. Mid deaths that fail to chain on-path +1s belong to speed. Insanity gain belongs to the death where the lane was readable and the next body would otherwise be a copy.
Buy Insanity gain when two clean journeys end at the same distance. Do not buy it to fix empty-bar panic. If you cannot stay on stones, the upgrade guide still starts with stamina. If you can stay on stones but never reach the next cluster, upgrade priority still ranks speed before Insanity. The only +50% Insanity number this wiki will repeat is the VIP pass.
VIP’s +50% is a multiplier
VIP is 199 Robux for +50% Insanity and +50% Speed. Bought early, it tempts full sprints, so be stricter about stamina. Bought late, it accelerates a loop you already run. It does not replace the Insanity gain upgrade.
Enchanced Recovery (149 Robux, store spelling Enchanced) is +50% stamina regen. It helps you live long enough to collect +1s; it is not an Insanity pass. Sin Second Slot is 299 Robux. Lightning Trail is 199 Robux and cosmetic. Neither is an Insanity farm. If you are not buying VIP, follow the free-to-play route and let rebirths plus the shop do the same job slower.
As of 5 September 2026 there are no live promo codes that grant Insanity. Do not stall a farm waiting on a string. There are no dedicated scripts for this place.
The rebirth loop
The farm is a loop, not a camp:
- Join and face the three arches so the goal is obvious.
- Stay on the torch-lined stone path.
- Collect +1 pickups you can take without a long sand detour.
- Burst-walk with a stamina reserve for light and worm.
- When the lane is gone or the bar is empty, rebirth.
- Spend: stamina if you died empty, speed if you died safe but short, Insanity gain if the journey was a copy.
- Run the same path farther.
The Rebirth Guide is the eject page. Immediate rebirth keeps the incremental game honest. Overstaying a ruined line for one more sand pickup stalls Insanity. If the next action is hope, rebirth. If it is a named sprint to a visible torch cluster with reserve, continue.
Hugging other players is not a farm. Standing still at spawn is not a farm. Chasing the sandworm to die faster skips the +1s that fund the shop. Rolling Spirits and Sins is not an Insanity printer this wiki will name. Convert empty-bar and dune-cut deaths into the right axis, then let Insanity have the deaths that were already clean.
Bank the death you can name
Open the next session with one rule: every journey must leave a named spend. Pickup count on the stones, then the axis you buy, then the same road again. If you cannot name the spend, you did not farm Insanity. You decorated a death. Collect on the lane, raise Insanity gain when copies appear, let VIP multiply a loop you already understand, and rebirth before the flower-mouth turns a bank into a story.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for desert runs, rebirths, and rolls.
How do I farm Insanity?
Collect +1 pickups on the torch-lined stone path, buy Insanity gain when two clean journeys copy each other, optionally use VIP’s +50% Insanity, and rebirth instead of overstaying a dead line. Layout of those pickups: Desert Map.
Should I buy Insanity gain first?
No. Early deaths belong to stamina. Buy Insanity gain when two clean journeys end at the same distance. Rank the sequence on upgrade priority and the upgrade guide.
Does VIP replace the Insanity upgrade?
No. VIP (199 Robux) adds +50% Insanity and +50% Speed. It multiplies a loop you already run. Without the pass, use the free-to-play route and the shop.
Are there codes or scripts that farm Insanity?
No. As of 5 September 2026 there are no live codes and no dedicated scripts for this place. This wiki will not invent reward strings.
Is dying on purpose a good farm?
Death is the incremental button, but a death with no +1s and no spend is a wasted cycle. Collect what you can reach, then rebirth. See the Rebirth Guide.
Do I share Insanity with the rest of the server?
No. Servers hold up to 15 players with individual progression. Another avatar’s VIP, pickups, and rebirths do not feed your bank. Do not hug their line during a sandworm burst.
